Ex-Mormon Christian – Mark D. Champneys
My Recommendations For Further Information Click a button at left
There is a lot of great information available for informing yourself about Mormonism, but there is plenty that is not accurate, as well. Having been an active Mormon, and a committed evangelical Christian and Bible teacher, I know what I am talking about. Learning about Mormonism from Mormon sources can be very misleading unless you are getting it from their scripture or their prophets. Even then, if you do not know your Bible well, it is very easy to be deceived. I know Mormonism from both sides; from inside and outside the LDS Church. If you want to expand your education I can confidently recommend the materials found by clicking on the buttons at left. Yet, as you study these excellent materials I urge you to remember that the Bible is the authority, and not a human being. Compare everything to the known scripture of the Bible. “Prove all things and hold fast to that which is good.” (1 Thes. 5:21) Be like the Berean people described in the book of Acts: “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:11)
